But hear me out - I'm not gonna be able to play that until at least turn 5. It's a great card, and I know that with Demigod it's a non-bo.
I wanted to get some feedback regarding Mind Stone. Molten Rain because of manlands and tron. Stormbreath is SB at the moment for most Game 2's (I'd be very surprised not to see GY hate). My meta loves aggro, jund, and midrange control at the moment, so I put this list together. I'd like to try this Demigod out, I know, late to the party and all. I've been alternating between Skred Red and Mono U Tron, and I ran All-In for a while with good results (3x Blood Moon, 3x Ensnaring Bridge, rituals/ape). I'm currently off the demigod plan right now as I happened to acquire cards for the thopter builds I'm running that this week since I have roughly every card for just about all the commonly played variants of Skred (except the jeskai builds, don t have the lands for that). I tend to go through 3-4 modern events a week so I'm always willing to make a few changes here and there. Of course this is subject to change throughout the week. Right now compared my list list linked above I'm looking at: Once I get a fairly optimized list figured out I'll add it to my list of archetypes (linked in the subreddit wiki) since the build for Demigods is fairly different from other lists. Specifically vs Blue decks since demigods trigger is on cast and not an ETB trigger. The main thing that I gained however wasn't just a harder to cast dude, but I feel like the deck gained some inevitability. My only issue was with the curve being slightly higher than I'm used to since I've been playing reckoners the past few weeks in the PnK slot. Overall my record last week was 11-5 in matches over 4 separate 4 round events. So for the last week I jammed 4 demigods in my list and swapped relics for ] to see if I can get some hand filtering and value of ditching demigods. So I was looking over Skred lists the last few months and it seems that ] had been the 5 drop of choice lately especially for the placing decks.
